Light Café Review- Toronto Eat

What to do on a boring Monday afternoon? Umm...I choose to write down a new Café review that i tried last weekend and hope it will LIGHT up the start of your week. : )

"Charcoal Black Sesame Waffle" & "Just Peachy Black Tea"

Service and atmosphere

"What a white, clean and fresh place!" This was my thoughts when I first stepped in. The serenity setting along with the plan decor made me felt really comfortable. : )

HubbyJ and I went there on Saturday afternoon, we only waited a few minutes for a table, the staffs was really nice, and the food arrived 5-7 mins after the order was placed, super fast!

Food

Tried the black sesame waffle and the peach tea, both were quite unique and presented very well, the waffle was not too sweet, a nice black sesame flavor, came with a yummy vanilla and black sesame ice-cream, sesame syrup and fruit, most importantly, the waffle was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, who can resist a waffle like this?!! This was the best waffle that I've had in Toronto so far, I gave it 10/10 stars. : )

For the peach tea, um..was it the best peach I ever had? Not really, but they pay attention to the details, it was not sweet enough for me so I ended up asked for some extra syrup :P

Price

$10.25 for the waffle and $5.75 for the peach tea.
